Full Day Craft-making villages

Cuenca is surrounded by charming villages, colorful markets and beautiful scenery. Join us in this driving tour to the east part of the city, visit a local workshop of handmade guitars, check out the famous Chordeleg´s filigree jewelry, walkthrough Gualaceo a town well-know for the traditional handicraft called macana (shawls), and have a delicious lunch in the famous Corvel restaurant in Paute and visit the record guinness largest wood spoon.

Start this day with a cool drive through the south of Azuay province, past the evergreen ranchland of Tarqui valley where one of the independence battles took place, hike along footpath into the cloud forest to reach El Chorro de Giron waterfall with 250-foot high.
